The NDA is heading toward a massive triumph in the Bihar Assembly elections, dominating the tally with around 202 seats after nearly eleven hours of counting. The BJP is on track to achieve a historic result with 89 seats, while Nitish Kumar’s JD(U) follows strongly with 85. Coalition partners such as Chirag Paswan’s LJP(RV), securing 19 seats, have played a decisive role in strengthening the alliance’s position.
On the other side, the Mahagathbandhan is facing a near wipeout. The opposition bloc has slipped to roughly 34 seats, struggling to stay relevant. The RJD is ahead in only 25 seats, and the Congress has collapsed further, leading in just 6 seats. The outcome signals a sweeping endorsement of the NDA and a clear rejection of the rival alliance.
